PARK(ing) Day is a one-day global event where artists, activists, and citizens collaborate to transform metered parking spots into temporary public parks. It was recently announced that Park(ing) Day 2010 will take place on Friday, September 17. Anyone can participate. Last year’s event saw more than 700 instant parks pop up in 140 cities.
